Abstract:Objective To compare the postoperative effects of acetate ringer's solution (ARS)versus lactated Ringer’s solution(LRS)for fluid resuscitation in patients with moderately anemia undergoing total hysterectomy. Methods Patients diagnosed and undergoing total hysterectomy in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College from May 2023 to May 2024 were enrolled. Using randomly allocation, 80 patients were divided into a control group(n=40, receiving LRS)and an experimental group(n=40, receiving ARS).Postoperative indicators including mean arterial pressure(MAP), heart rate(HP), urine output, electrolyte levels, blood glucose, VAS scores(vomiting severity), and antiemetic usage rates were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the experimental group exhibited significantly better MAP, HR and VAS scores, slightly higher blood glucose levels, all differences between the two groups were statistically significant(t=6.750、4.225、3.699、2.485,all P<0.05); and reduced antiemetic usage, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(χ2=4.013,P<0.05). No significant differences were observed between groups in urine output or electrolyte levels(t=0.068、1.105、0.336、0.596、0.499,all P>0.05). Conclusion For moderately anemic patients after total hysterectomy, ARS effectively restores blood volume, stabilizes hemodynamics and HR, maintains moderate glucose levels for energy supply, reduces nausea and vomiting severity, and decreases antiemetic requirements.
